The morning dawned icy and very foggy with the minimum being 0.2c fore 07.00. The fog lifted to mist/low cloud and, although a few light showers moved through between 09.30 - 10.30, it turned mostly fine with some hazy sunny spells until mid afternoon.

It is now cloudy and breezy with the maximum so far of 4.4c being the current temperature.

The rain has set in and it`s still cold 2.3c max wind hasn`t picked up any more since my last post,the thaw has continued snowline going higher after yesterday`s snow.

We escaped the frost and fog last night, and were greeted with a rather nice bright morning with some sunshine around lunchtime, very pleasant indeed. It didn't feel as cold as yesterday despite still a cool SE breeze. Not a bad day at all.

We are coming off very well with regard to the imminent rain and wind which should have cleared by 9am, its good when this happens.
