Sunny in the interrior of Croatia, but cloudy in southern coastal Croatia because of low's outflow.

The high collapsed, and the upper-level low passed through Croatia.

Because of low,the maximum temperatures in Croatia varied greatly(from 10 to 24 Celsius)

Howdy folks! :D

Cold front didn't come, and we are mainly having warm weather all the time.

Convective and other cloudiness formation is favored because of unstable air.

Today's maximum temperatures will be from 22 to 32 Celsius.

Local cumulonimbuses are possible.

Weather is more like in mid-May,but last (i think)dozen of years early June is unstable.

Howdy folks!

Today's maximum temperatures were from 25 to 35(!) Celsius.

Strong cumulonimbuses(possible supercells)are growing in Croatia and bringing strong thunderstorms with sharp temperature drops.

A thunderstorm is spoiling a Pope's visit in Croatian capital,Zagreb.

Summer finally came.

I love Croatia. We went to Rovinj. Beautiful little town. Did the day trip to Venice. Had a massive thunderstorm. We went in September. Storm went up at 5pm and lasted until gone 1am. Is September the best month for storms?

In September thunderstorms are frequent because of high number of cold fronts.Storm are also frequent in May and June in all of the Croatia except coastal areas because of unstable air.The best time for pre-season vacation is mid May.The weather is generally sunny and very warm from late June to early August. In mid August number of thunderstorms and cold fronts begins to increase.

And answer:

In September there are lots of storms,a little more than May.The most rain falls in November and December, but it doesn't fall in thunderstorms.

It is best to check forecast for cold fronts which bring lots of thunderstorms.

On June 29 there were storms in NE Croatia because of a large low to the NE of Croatia.

Today a cold front came to west of Croatia and it is bringing some rain and thunderstorms.

Now in Croatia temperatures are from 18 to 29 Celsius.
