Thick fog here as well john, with visibility down to around 120 feet, don’t often experience fog this thick in June. It seems large areas of England, Wales and Ireland are affected, as the latest Infrared satellite looks clear. Though the visible imagery shows the fog, low cloud quite well.

And just across the Pennines its awful! Deep cloud cover and feeling chilly and still damp from yesterdays rain.

Not what i was expecting with HP sat over the UK.

Overcast here too, but quite bright, the cloud is slowly burning away!

Surprising that some areas are cloudy. Perhaps some Atlantic murk is filtering in via the weak south-westerly flow on the northern flank of the high.

Sunshine, a bit of high cloud and 18C in Norwich- though it feels a lot warmer than that in the sun. A proper summer's day.

Was thick fog at 6am that lifted into low cloud- which to be fair is trying to burn off. Didn't see the sun till after 10 though- this is hardly the sunny week we were promised so far!
