Snow/Wintry Precipitation Reports: 05th - 06th April 2004

A few wintry precip reports already elsewhere on the forum, here is where they can all be put

Two hail showers this afternoon.

[Thundery wintry showers]

Hail and sleet showers on Tyneside between 5:30 and 6:00pm, but turning back to rain shortly afterwards. The temperature fell to around 5C.

I have only got back to base after being out since 3.00pm (6/4) but can report a few snow showers in early afternoon @ 1250ft. I assume this is due to altitude but someone did report sleet in Merthyr Tydfil. Going over the A470 there was a slight snow covering on the upper most tops.
