A little light rain early this morning, clearing before 0800 g.m.t. The rest of the day has been dry and very warm with sunny intervals throughout the morning and early afternoon. Increasing medium level cloud after 1400 g.m.t has given a warm, dry and cloudy end to the day.

Last day of our short stay in Pembokeshire was mostly dull with bits of rain at times. Rather humid, a few bright intervals too. Breezy (south).

Some heavy bursts of rain driving back earlier this evening, but has not been much here.

Another very poor summers day in what has now been a long run of poor days. Easily the wettest day of the summer so far, we have recorded over 1.8 inches bringing monthly total to above 8.5 inches.

Rivers are now very high and the river kent is on flood watch. Hope United Utilities are not going to say its the wronf type of rain again, they should be doing their greatest to be capturing as much of it as they can.

Even with 10 days left, the incessant heavy rain, relatively cool days yet to see 21 degrees and lack of sunshine means July 2010 here will go down as poor indeed.
