It's the final day of summer, and true to form the weather is set fair with high pressure in charge right up until the end of the week at the least. With ex hurricane Danielle in the Atlantic, unsettled weather may not be far off.

It is rather typical of the first week in september here. I have no idea why? Looking back over the past few years, I cant think of a beginnning of september that hasnt been lovely.

Its probably the best time to visit Skye, as the probability of ot being settled is higher than at any other time of the year.
