UK Outlook for Monday 3 Sep 2018 to Wednesday 12 Sep 2018:

On Monday and Tuesday a slow moving band of cloud and increasingly patchy rain is likely to lie across UK. Away from this, it should be dry with variable cloud and some long sunny spells, although outbreaks of rain may affect the far north later. Temperatures will be warm, possibly very warm in the south and east, but closer to normal elsewhere. Through the rest of the period more settled conditions are likely to become established, with a good deal of dry weather, and increasing sunshine. However, the far north and west may still occasionally be windy, with some rain at times. There will be some warm days, especially in the southeast, but there may be some chilly nights, with an increasing risk of fog.

UK Outlook for Thursday 13 Sep 2018 to Thursday 27 Sep 2018:

Throughout this forecast period it seems most likely that the weather pattern will change only slowly, and this will maintain a good deal of dry, warm and settled weather, although there may be some brief spells of more changeable conditions. Northern and western areas are most likely to have occasionally wet and windy spells, but these are likely to be short-lived, with some more settled interludes at times here too. Daytime temperatures are expected to be above average overall, with some warm days in the across the south and east, and with the warmer conditions perhaps spreading further north and west at times. However, as the nights lengthen through September, any longer clear nights may lead to some quite low overnight temperatures, with an accompanying risk of patchy fog.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 4 Sep 2018 to Thursday 13 Sep 2018:

Warm sunshine is expected to dominate across much of the UK during Tuesday and Wednesday. The southeast may well be very warm at times, though a few showers are possible here. Through the rest of the period dry and fine weather will probably dominate with mostly light winds and a fair amount of sunshine. However, the far north and west may still occasionally be windy, with some rain at times. There will be some warm days everywhere, but there are likely to be some chilly nights, bringing an increasing risk of early morning fog. In the far south, it is likely to be very warm at times, and the extra heat may trigger the odd thunderstorm.

Dry and fine weather with sunny spells for most on Thursday and Friday with chilly nights and some isolated mist and fog patches for the early morning. For southern and southeastern England there may be some brisk winds at times but also warm temperatures. Largely fine and settled across much of the UK into next weekend and beyond, although with a risk of more changeable or unsettled conditions at times. UK Outlook for Friday 7 Sep 2018 to Sunday 16 Sep 2018:

At first, northern and eastern areas are likely to be cloudy and breezy with showers or spells of rain. Southern and western parts, mainly dry with sunny spells, light winds, and a few showers. There is a small chance, however, that settled and fine conditions will prevail widely. Although uncertainty remains, more settled and sunnier weather is most likely across the southeast as we move into the first half of the working week, with chilly nights and some morning fog patches. Concurrently, generally unsettled weather, should become established in the northwest of the UK, bringing a risk of some strong winds at times. From mid-week, periods of dry, fine, and warm weather are likely, with spells of more unsettled weather in the northwest.

More unsettled weather will affect the northwest at times, with spells of heavy rain and strong winds. Warm for many and perhaps turning very warm in the south and east. However, under clear spells, there could be some chilly nights with the risk of morning fog patches.

The last two sentences less optimistic in terms of temperature perhaps? Also the bit about unsettled weather developing elsewhere at times (which was not in their am or pm update yesterday). This update is the early am one.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 11 Sep 2018 to Thursday 20 Sep 2018:

Tuesday is looking mostly cloudy but dry and warm in the south and southeast. Sunny spells and showers are likely in the far north whilst elsewhere it should be cloudy with rain, heaviest and most persistent in the west. Through the rest of the period, the driest weather is likely to be across southern parts where it should also be rather warm. Meanwhile it will be more unsettled and cooler towards the northwest with bouts of heavy rain and strong winds. Some cold nights are likely with an increasing risk of morning fog patches.

England and Wales are likely to have a good deal of dry and bright weather on Thursday and Friday. In Scotland and Northern Ireland, showers, cooler weather and a brisk breeze are more likely. Predominantly dry across much of England and Wales through Friday and into next weekend with spells of sunshine and often light winds, although a few showers are possible. Scotland and Northern Ireland will see more changeable weather, with showers or longer spells of rain as well as stronger winds. Into next week, it is likely that this north/south split will continue at first, with the south staying generally dry and perhaps turning warmer, but with some colder nights and the risk of morning fog. The north will continue to see spells of rain and strong, perhaps even gale force winds. This unsettled weather may occasionally extend to other parts of the UK towards the end of next week, although the south and east may continue to see mostly dry conditions.
