We now skip another 4 Year onto May 3rd 1999 and the Record Breaking Oklahoma Outbreak that lasted 4 days from May 3rd to May 6th. The Following 3 Videos show the story of just how well the NewsChannels in Oklahoma follow the Supercells with ground and air chasers, it is not out of the ordinary to see Choppers flying very near these Storms even last year we saw a it a few times.

“We don’t want people to read anything at all into no tornadoes being reported in Colbert, Franklin or Lauderdale counties last year,†Kula said. “That means absolutely nothing as far as this year is concerned. We could have an active tornado season this year, but there’s no way to say for sure. What it will all come down to is weather patterns, timing and location.â€

A cooling of water in the Pacific Ocean, known as a La Nina, which is under way, typically :bomb: leads to an active tornado season in the Tennessee Valley. The prime months

for tornadoes in north Alabama are March through May and October through December.

Mike Melton, director of the Colbert County Emergency Management Agency, said with this year having the potential for increased tornado activity :whistling:

On a serious note , for once.

Brilliant footage from Paul and also a reminder on the damage these things can do. We will see brilliant storms and fantastic storm structure. Tornado always icing on the cake.

Safety is too, high on the agenda.

And so i bumped into the farmers daughter walking the bull down the lane. i says where are you going and she says i am taking the bull to mate with the cows. I says shouldn't your father be doing that. She says no! the bull does it better. boom boom.

post-2466-0-88624300-1295777675_thumb.jp

it a Limousin

The goats are my daughter's. They are called Sean & Stacey.

post-2466-0-02519900-1295777822_thumb.jp

She walks them daily and they behave like a pair of dogs.

Okay so we have covered the 1991, 1995 & 1999 Outbreak so we now move on 4 years again in the cycle to May 2003, an Incredible 11 days of Severe Weather and also one of the most UNTALKED About Significant Tornadoes on May 8th which once again struck Moore (Ok) but because it was not as significant as the 1999 event (which was also nearly 4 years to that day) it hardly gets talked about even though it was still an F4! This Tornado also took on an Identical Track as the one 4 years earlier and indeed the EF4 That hit Moore on May 10th 2010! You sure would not want to buy a House there :whistling:

Below is some amazing stats on that Outbreak from Wikipedia, I love the way they have laid out all the Events and even named the Tornadoes in there - A MUST READ! :smiliz19:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&search=may+2003+tornado+outbreak&ns0=1&redirs=0

Now for some Videos and not all of these cover that Insane Period

- Stratford (Tx Panhandle) 15th May 2003

- Kansas Outbreak May 4th 2003 F4

- Moore (Ok) May 8th F4

- Oklahoma Outbreak May 9th

Excuse me !!!!!!

Anyone would think this is a storm chasing forum. Here we are talking about bulls and goats and you keep popping in and out with flippin tornado films. Carry on and I will report you to a meditator or whatever they are called.

The general feeling out there at the moment is that we are looking at a late starter compared to last year or 2009.

Though when it arrives it will be severe due to the coldest snowiest winters since the 80's.

So they think caused by the Nina...

Feeling is its going to be a severe and unuasul season with very hot temps in Texas particularlly.

Or speculation what may happen due to the Nina...

quoted from some well known meteoroliygist's

..

how many places left on Mfish again :smiliz19:

book me in..lol

F5 outbreak around JUNE 5TH..20-50 TWUSTERS.

on another note...

did anyone see twister last night...

I was embarressed with my sons girlfriends parents..LOL

Hollywood for you...

The film called the night of the Twisters was more factual..

Puducha was more scary than that film last night...

made it look like Benidorm on a good night

Well a lot of people I am talking to are writing Texas and Oklahoma (Eg Southern Plains) off completely for 2011 due to the extreme drought conditions, and I can see their arguements which would also fit a La Nina Spring, much further North and East from Kansas to the Dakotas and from Missouri up to Illinios, it will certainly be new chase territoy for almost all of you and a lot scarier with them there trees and hills.

Shame if it is as above as that would rule out 80% of Chase Nirvana and 360 degree views of Western Kansas and Texas Panhanlde etc

Paul S

** We will just have to see how the Season pans out from wether it starts late or early, one good thing is the GOM Is warmer than last year :good:

Chase day one tour 1 2010

Kansas with a brief visit into Nebraska

We ended the day with a pizza in a motel , I am not sure if it wasn't Concordia, Kansas or not.

Good day though
