Could today be the first widespread pub lunch day of the year? With much less cloud around for many parts of the UK today, temperatures will widely climb to 15-17c - with perhaps an 18c in the mix too. Not bad for March!

At 16.3C it's actually slightly warmer outside than in for the first time here.

Not 100% clear either but long sunny spells and light winds.

Doncaster also showing 18C but no web page shows it for some reason, presumably as its in Sth Yorkshire!!

20C in my back garden just 3 miles from there

According to Doncasterwx John the max was 17.4 unless I'm misreading it.
