A very windy day here but an unusual occurrence occured. At about 11-30 am as I went out I noticed a rainbow to my north as it started to start to rain slightly. I travelled due east and it was visible all the time and it remained more to my North east until around 1-30 pm-any suggestions?

Looking at the radar, an area of light rain remained/ passed to the north of Newcastle throughout this period. As the sun moved around the rainbow would have appeared more east of north with time.

A lovely sunny day, with only a few clouds and feeling warm- only downside was the wind which was something I'd all but forgotten existed! It seems so long since we had a windy day.
