I'd fancy some of that sort of unpredictable weather but it looks like I'm going to have to wait for it in Norwich. Sunny intervals here, quite pleasant out of the wind, but little chance of more than the odd isolated shower. 20C at Norwich Airport, still looking semi-arid out there.

An absolute classic sunshine and showers day with clouds forming as early as 07.00 and the first shower around 08.30 while

the sun was shining. While I was out working there were 8 showers of which 2 were heavy and the rest were from the W or E edge

as they moved from SSW-NNE or from decaying/separated anvils. It seemed every cloud was a shower and there was plenty of warm

sunshine in between.

If you zoom to BA12 on the NW radar you can see the showers forming rapidly between here and the S coast throughout the morning.

Right now it's sunnier with scattered TCu and fair weather Cumulus, 17.8c and 71% humidity.

[Thundery wintry showers]

I see that Norwich Airport was the warmest place in the country yesterday with 23.9C according to the Met Office. Some pretty heavy, thundery showers going up in the western half of England and central/eastern Wales at the moment according to the radar!

The first shower of, what I hope is many, is just starting here although it looks as though the heaviest of it will pass just to the west as it's moving north faster than it is east.
