It has been cloudy all day here but no rain yet has the rainband has got stuck in the middle of the country

Your right there Highcliffe the BBC got it wrong they said it would get brighter as the day went on for the midlands but all i see is nimbostraus clouds and rain but its slowly going! Right at the end of the day typical british weather

Cloudy again here today, no real change from the past few days. There have been a few spots of rain throughout the day. I have just been looking at the BBC Radar and that big band of rain to the south of the U.K.

Currently cloudy with towers building in every direction, I would say shower activity should be within 2 hours, i will keep every one posted for thunderstorms in the London area, here's hoping.

It's pouring with rain, and there are cumulonimbus clouds in all directions; there's also no wind.

It's looking good for some thundertsorm activity later on. I think we are right in the centre of the depression!

Yes a very brief heavy shower and there is broken cloud around at the moment!! I tell you what these cumulus clouds are really building!!

Some great cumulonimbus developed over Wiltshire this morning blotting out in just over an hour what was an almost clear sky- seemed to be slowly drifting E-SE. Only had steady rain showers in Westbury until now when the first real downpour has arrived. Hopefully some action this afternoon :?:

this is really annoying there looks like there is a big t-storm/downpour just brushed to the north of me, the Sky is completely Black :cry:

Same here too mates :lol: A few very heavy downpours and sunny intervals! The sun does indeed feel warm when it comes out.

i dont think i've been far off with my competition forecast :? , Paul if you could, could you post the top temps on the 3 dates, not the results, you can do them when you want of course but i would be interested in the temps
