Cloudy and mild overnight. The day dawned cloudy with showers scattered throughout the area. After a moderate shower here just after the observation it became brighter with a few sunny spells. Further showers developed through the morning and in to the afternoon with some heavy ones scattered. There were further sunny spells too, but the blustery west to north west wind made for an uncomfortable feel at times.
