Jut wondering if anyone is chasing the hurricane this weekend and has a live stream? Eastern seaboard is bracing them self by the look of FOX news.

This one of New York, I'm watching tomorrow for the action! Theres various live feeds at the bottom 'Cam 1, Cam2...'

Nothing so far today - people have even been mowing their lawns!

Reading earlier, this area was tipped for some action around lunchtime (i.e. now) but nothing doing and nothing much on NW radar. Had plans today but cancelled on account of the bad weather - too much rain to do paperwork outside. If it does not rain today, the irony will not be lost on me.....

Here's hoping for a rumbe later or I will have to mow the lawn cray.gif

Convection certainly getting going now over this side of the country...current have a storm overhead, seen a couple of Cg and a fair few cracks! Keep them coming!

CG

Where abouts are you CG? Had plenty of downpours here but heard no thunder

Edit, just seen you are from Crewe! I heard a noise which could have been thunder about 10 mins or so ago but couldn't tell as there was a hairdryer on at the time!

Crewe Cold

It was that cell over to the south west...moving over nantwich towords stoke! I get a good 360 view here in the signal box, over crewe to the north and south over staffordshire, but the CG was in the cell south! watching more towers grow over to the north west!

CG

Strike star picked it up as well

Now had a v light shower: didn't even wet the road! There are a few Tcs to the NW at the mo but nothing really organised or large at this time.

At least I don't think I'll have to mow the lawn now - another light shower would clinch that.

Game over here too. There is virtually no convection to my west anymore, all to the east (as usual). Oh well, there's always next year (or maybe not)doh.gif

Distant rumble of thunder, very heavy rain mixed with pea sized hail...all from a shower rotating and developing above.

Just had a rumble of thunder from the cell passing over Stafford heading towards Lichfield...If 'staffordshire' is on-line, I'd keep my eye on this one if I was you, it'll be with you in about 10 minutes
