Once again 2 weeks in France (Cognac) didn't disapoint with storms on 6 nights out of 14 and one day storm. Two of the night events - 19th and 25th - were associated with an unstable regime advecting north from Spain giving daytime maxes of 36C and night mins of 24C. Both resulted in violent MCS's with frequent lightning (more than one per second visible) and violent wind squalls although rain amounts in my vicinity were not extreme. I'll upload a video later of one of the events.
