Currently mostly clear and quite cool with a temperature of 7.4C - the minimum so far.

Interestingly its the first time the temperature has gone into single-digits so far this month. In contrast to most of the summer, the nights have been much warmer than average so far.

It's cold, the temperature is 4.8C and clear for as far as I can see. There's also a wind chill of 2.8C and the dew point is 3.7C.

4.9C, low of 4.3C here, what a stunning morning here in the usual scenic Durham. Redesdale Camp, Shap and Eskdalemuir all fell to at least 1C, OON's Great Asby fell to 1.9C while at 0600, Tulloch Bridge was shrouded in fog with 2.1C.

I wouldn't mind a few more of these little ridges passing the nation, cool, frosty nights, and today looks like a beautiful warm, clear day here!

My lowest temp last night was 6.8C. Nevertheless down in the valley it was colder with shallow mistiness giving that mellow fruitfulness that Septembers should deliver. Currently mostly clear skies and temps of 8.3C. No wind.

The day dawned clear and colder than for a long time at 6.6c, there was some brief shallow fog which then gave way to

quickly warm sunshine. A few Cumulus and some Cirrus, it's calm,16.4c and humidity 69%.

A good deal of high and medium level cloud earlier this morning but this cleared by about 0915 g.m.t and since then it's been sunny with 2-3 oktas Ci and a few distant small Cu.
