Top gust here now 48.7kts = 53.6mph

Looking quite interesting now for Friday with very strong NW gales (poss SG9/Storm 10) with the possibility of the odd wintry shower around. Will certainly feel very cold compared to recently!

Yes I will be glued to the Highland/Shetland webcams/stations during Thursday to Saturday morning. -5C uppers approaching your area so possibly some sleet or wintriness in a heavy shower for you I'd imagine.

Indeedy IF, -5 air over us late Friday and the 0 deg isotherm down to around 700ft, could be some hail/sleet around.

Yep, nice one, dry northerly triggering a few showers with high temps and low dew points :) Reminds me of stalking your webcam on 20-oct-10 last year when you got some wintry showers during a northerly.

On official stations in Paris and greater Paris temps were ranging from 28c to 29.2c and still a very blue sky with a beautiful sunset , well now almost fully dark.Still 24c to 26c in the region but now dropping

Clouds should arrive earlytonight or early morning making the temps not to drop too much.

Actually dropped from 17.1c at 1830 to 13.9c currently at 1945 here under windy conditions - cloud is moving v.quickly from the west and burning off - could be the coolest night in a long time with cooler uppers approaching - despite the wind, single figures could be met and a much cooler figure under wind chill at dawn.

Dark clouds rolled in at about 6.00 p.m. preceded by a drop in temperature from 25C to 19C in about an hour. Much windier. Remarkably like autumn now - as it should be.

It was lovely, though, and a real treat. cool.png
