Woke up to a lovely clear morning, with low lying fog and a frost! We must have sat under a clear spell for quite some time this morning, currently 0.4C with a ground frost and slight air frost. My nearest weather station; Wattisham, is showing a temperature of 4C at the moment.

Second air frost of the season here, minimum temp -0.1c, currrently +0.3c. Clears skies and little wind, pressure 1016hpa.

Slight frost on roof tops, grass and vehicles.

The frost seems very localised, conditions are in my favour here though with my house being sheltered from the easterly wind plus I'm surrounded by fields and woodland.

Back to the grey, dull and overcast again today which is a shame after the much improved yesterday.

Didn't get as cold as I was expecting last night with a low of only 6.6C. Winds are lighter though then they were yesterday.

Have popped down to Norwich for three days, surprised to wake up to hazy sunshine and a slight frost this morning after almost never-ending cloud cover up at Cleadon.

A low of 4.8C in clear spells overnight.

The temperature today is surprisingly being pegged way way back, below average even.

It's 6.2C under slightly misty conditions. Feels raw out there too in the little breeze that we have.

On observation it looks like we had a slight ground frost, but as I'm still dubious of my temperature, I'm not gonna count it.

Whilst a bit chilly, the temperature has remained consistent for a while and still nothing like the normal mid-November cold stuff. A bit of brightness now coming through to break the monotony of grey, dark and dull.

Frozen windscreen this mornin on the car here in Norwich. just seen a picture from friend in Grantown-on-spey in the carngorms. -4.5 on way into work.

    The cold is coming.

I do a lot of wildfowling, and the geese have started to arrive in droves now, more than i have seen in previous years (including last year) Judging by the northern hemisphere snow thread you can see why, the cold is getting further and further west.

Another note, I add most major cities from west to east on my iphone weather app. I have been monitoring them for the last 3 weeks and all i can see is, its getting colder by the day and coming further and further westwards. i don't care what the models show, its getting colder as it should do in winter and judging by the amount of wildfowl heading over to us its getting pretty grim out east and its getting closer.

    Just my 2 pence

Well another beautiful mid November day, temp recovered to 9.8c so far.

Little/no wind, clear skies, pressure 1014hpa, humidity 74%

It's quite surprising how warm the sun still feels at this time of year especially with clear sunny skies and no wind. I took the dogs out on a walk and I had to remove my jacket as it got quite warm walking in the sun. Long may it last :good:

Today has gone from a morning low of 3.2'c up to a daytime max of 5.7'c. With the fog layer in place the slight 'dimming' of sunlight exacerbates the coolness along with the temps, not to mention the windchill. Its definitely grey, cold, and gloomy out there today.

The fog has thinned to mist but it's overcast and rather chilly with a current temp' of 3.8c.

Very little breeze either, just a 4 mph easterly.

It actually feels like November for a change.

I'm so pleased for you TM-bad enough here with a temperature of 8.3C, I suppose on the plus side it is just about light!
