It got up to 2.9C shortly after midday. This evening has featured an unusual sunset, with various yellow, green and pink glows, reminiscent of the spectacular sunsets many of us got during the anticyclonic spell of 8-20 February 2008.

We had the impressive sunrise and sunset here too, very similar to Feb 2008 with vivid colours, clear skies and low level haze aswell.

A clear and frosty start with a thick rime gave way to a sunny day without a cloud in the sky. It was the lowest temperature of the winter so far this morning with a min of -1.8C. The max today was cold at 4.1C.

    Currently 1.3C and 84% humidity.
