Light rain - not enough to dampen the ground as the wind is drying it out quite quickly. No sign of the promised deluge (yet). Cool but not unpleasant (11 degrees) - just been out for a walk and am quite dry!

Cloudy with light-moderate rain all morning and a spell of heavy rain during mid-afternoon before reverting to light-moderate again. The rain eventually cleared to the south by 1700 g.m.t but it remained cloudy.

Rain since 10am: 11mm approx- these figures from my automatic station, which is often under the manual gauge. Around 30mm suggested by Netweather accumulator and Trawscoed has had 30mm in the past 24 hours.

Pressure: 985mbar, steady (a fall of over 30mbar since yesterday, and the lowest pressure since December, 980mbar)
