Feeling rather cool at the moment with the temperature close to freezing. Some misty/foggy conditions apparent, too, with dawn beginning to appear. Gentle breeze from a South-Easterly direction. And the pressure is around 1005 hpa. No bad luck regarding the weather reported at the moment. ;-)

Temps close to freezing aren't rather cool in mid April, definately feels very cold for mid April especially rurally where its very frosty indeed with thick freezing fog, feels more like a December morning.

Days are warm here though with warm prolonged spells of sunshine and only a few heavy brief showers yesterday, only four or five showers here since tuesday so its been very sunny and springlike by day, nights were rather cool until this morning tease.gif

A dry night after 1830 g.m.t although just 5 km east of here a line of showers kept going until around 2130 g.m.t. The cloud broke at times overnight allowing a ground frost but it clouded over during the early hours and there has been a light shower of rain and ice pellets in the last hour.

1km N/NE of here the fields are still white with hail after yesterday evening's storm.

Cloud cleared enough overnight to allow the temperature to fall to 0.0c with –3.6c on the grass, so a widespread ground frost. Low cloud formed over the area around 05:00 GMT and the frost lifted. This morning has been mostly cloudy, though bright spells are now developing at the observation. A mostly cloudy day with bright and brief sunny spells followed with showers developing throughout the area, this station stayed dry.

Seems to have stayed dry today so far. Actually quite glad it has, despite wanting to see some showers earlier. On the mild side with the temperature around 10*C.
