Only light showers yesterday, generally overcast but had some sunny intervals, didnt feel too bad at all, not sure where all the doom is coming from to be honest, tuesday afternoon/evening was gloriously sunny and the sun has come out now too, nights pretty mild too ,6C last night.

Cloudy overnight with a fresh to strong easterly wind picking up. Light to moderate rain arrived here around 05:00 GMT. At observation, continuous light rain, feeling cold and raw in the fresh east wind. Intermittent light to moderate rain continued throughout under mainly overcast skies with only brief brightness just after lunch. Less windy by afternoon. Light to moderate rain continued in to the evening.

A few hours of rain, some heavy, first thing which slowly turned to drizzle before dying out at around 10.00, some sunshine since then but showers are now beginning to develop and move in from the NW.
