Great photos!

Never been to Darwin, but when I do manage to go it'll be in the wet season to check out the evening storms.

Here in Hobart ( 2300 miles south ) we average just 5 storms a year - to Darwins 100 - and by the looks of it those things are the real deal

It's a shame the places with the best thunderstorms are all horribly hot and humid in perpetuity.

Fantastic photos! Rio de Janeiro and the strip of coast down to Angra dos Reis is a good place for thunderstorms that isn't horribly humid. Been there 7 times and it gets a mix between the heat of Rio and cooler climate of Sao Paulo.
