    The sun is now breaking through as the radar shows the rain clearing away east, a low of 10.4C with no wind and 1.4mm of rain overnight

    3mm of rain overnight as the worst of the system missed this area.

    The sky was clearing by dawn, although there were large areas of low Stratocumulus which lifted into large banks

    of more rigid Stratocumulus by 09.00 with some sunny breaks too.

    Sunshine has been increasing in the last few hours and the temperature is slowly warming at 16.3c with 73% humidity.

    After sunny spells to start generally an overcast day until 6pm, less cool than recently with a high of 17.5c though under thick stratocumulus it felt quite chilly!

    A very decent summers day with long periods of sunshine.

    But some showers have started to push up form around Plymouth and pushing in a SW has given a few sharp bursts and this looks set to continue through this evening.

    Very nice day overall with blue skies and a few clouds. Shower went just to the south of here at around 7pm, was visible on the radar. Temp currently 13.4C, Humidity 94%

    Nice mostly sunny today on the Pembrokeshire coast, chilly SW breeze.

    Came back this evening.

    • Wet March so far with more rain for the rest of the month, but hints of more settled weather early April

      It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average.
