Blimey that Ludlow cell is huge and really dominating the skyline!!!

Isn't it amazing...in pre-internet days when we couldn't see the radar, I'd be convinced we were about to cop it!

Getting really threatning to the north of me actually and radar indicates rain not far away. Whether it thundery or not is another matter

Half an hour of hearing the storm coming, constant rolls of thunder, darkening sky,

and now we've had over half an hour of full thunderstorm, ie.

rain, lightening, thunder, brief loss of power.

Very nice.

Thunder has been rumbling away here for a couple of hours, and am now surrounded by cells although none have actually passed over me.

A very lively day today and pretty much as the forecasts were predicting.

Some storms should continue into the first part of the night giving some folk

a nice light show.

A potent cell heading just about for me crossing the Severn now. Let's hope for a last minute intensity explosion please!!

Wow i sign off not thinking anything else was heading this way and more thunder approaching closeby to the West of me! Just shows these showers cropping up anywhere, anytime today.

Looks good for hitting Bristol this time as well :)

24.1mm of rain in Hedon in 20 minutes now, a storm is sat overhead and not moving.

Annoyingly (and worryingly now) Im not there and actually at work!

Wow this shower is better than the last. Lightning directly overhead and loud booms of thunder. The skies looked impressive but whenever i take a photo it just looks like boring grey muck haha.

The Ludlow cell seems to be building out this way a little.

It seems so close in the sky, I could almost touch it!
