A lot of stations missing from weather online though I have been noticing trying to check rainfall today and yesterday.

Got away light here just over one inch since Sunday, very unremarkable.

There is still a slight possibility that Nadine herself could visit sometime in October, whenever she feels ready to eventually leave the Azores.

I emphasise the words "slight" & "possibility" though.

Is that bomb that was showing on the gfs the other day nadine or another system

Some nice cells developing towards the south coast

Nadine is the small but potent system floating around the Azores ( right at the bottom of model output charts if visible ).

She is expected to travel west into the mid Atlantic within the next few days, then travel a little north. It's what she does after this ( getting on for a couple of weeks time now ) that is unknown. Small possibility she could meet the Jet & head for us, many other different possibilities too. All a long way off yet anyway.

It looks like the worst is over for many areas now, with the last of the heaviest rain leaving the north tonight. Big clean up needed across the country though, widespread damage & floods.

Not sure about widespread damage and floods tbh. Theres been some flooding yes but not on the scale of 2007 for example, most places have managed to get off lightly considering the amount rainfall thats fallen.

Latest radar shot and we are now seeing the ppn break up and loose some intensity - Good news for many people I suspect!

Does look a little lively down that way on radar:

It really has been that lively, alot of the lightning seemed to be high altitude but overhead and pretty impressive. Hail didn't last long but have received 0.78 of an inch in the last hour
