Then from 11am steady drizzle moved in from the west. Thoroughly wetting.

A clear start to the day after some overnight rain and a low of 7.1c.

Some good spells of sunshine to begin but then it was back to normal service with it being almost overcast by 10.30am.

It then remained mostly cloudy (despite the forecast again!) but dry in a light westerly with a high of 12.5c.

The cloud is beginning to break up now though (typical!) allowing some pleasant evening sun to peep through.
