Yuk. What a lousy morning down here today. Wet, windy and very mild 12.7C with continuous rain with poor light levels. Getting on for 10mm overnight.

A mild and cloudy night with thick fog developing after midnight. A period of moderate rain earlier this morning but this has given way to intermittent drizzle and the cloud base has lifted to around 320 m in the last few minutes.

The thick fog early this morning cleared by 0930 to leave a mild, cloudy and breezy day with intermittent drizzle or light rain.

There was a brief spell of heavy rain around 1615 followed by a rapid decrease in the wind strength and a dry end to the day with the St clearing to reveal 7 oktas of Ac.
