I think this is worth sharing from another fan of the ensembles output.

Looking good for the Beast from the East to at least be coming out of hibernation.

Some very rare synoptics starting to show up, for that by itself, we must be grateful, assuming one likes things perishingly cold with potential for disruptive snowfall.

Still a way off, but nicely and slowly it could be coming to fruition.

This is just a bit of fun.....

Having been to the mountains of Andalucia the last couple of summers we used a Spanish website to check the forecasts (not that there was much to check, the answer was usually 'hot', which unsurprisingly turned out to be very accurate). Anyway, for the hell of it I put Reigate into their search function and here's the result. If you click on 'ver la proxima semana' (next week) it's very interesting to see the wind direction from Miercoles (Wednessday) is predominantly east, south-east or north-east. Not very warm either.

Cue lots of SE members using a Spanish weather site for their locations........

Hasta luego amigos!

There weren't much in the way of snow in Guildford to start with so its by in large melted...BUT let that be a lesson to you guys who are moaning about there not being snow currently in the forecast...it can show itself very suddenly!
