Snow practically stopped here, radar showing it moving further north now as wind switching round.

The model thread does my head all they ever talk about is FI when they say not too because how things change after 12 hours !! When all we really need to know is the next few days, and another thing is all they look for is a breakdown ahhhhh according to the GFS last week we was ment to be mild and chucking it down with rain but got the complete opposite. Sorry rant over how's the radar looking for the rest of the night :)

Just look at all that lovely snow out in the North Sea - what a waste :(

Can't grumble overall however, today has been highly satisfactory.

Snow stopped awhile ago in Malvern but we got another cm or two to add to yesterday's total. Still below freezing out at -1.2oC

Not completely wasted, Belgium would have got something out of that!

Snow is still going but radar looking more sparse...think we'll still see on and off light snow throughout the night.

Deffinatly dying out on the radar now

You guys must be pretty happy overall though? Not often that Telford / Shrewsbury ends up within the 'sweet spot' for snow?

Suits me just fine, I'll treat any further snow as a nice little bonus. In fact, I've treated anything above the 1cm dusting I was privately expecting from this event as a whopping great bonus :)

So, still snowing here - when I measured about an hour ago it was up to 12cm added today!

Every time I think its going to stop, it peps back up and off we go again.

In for an interesting week I think........

I know i never look in there now all they seem to do is talk about FI! And they get so worked up about charts that are a week away the mood in there changes with every single run! This week i have just looked at the radar and outside and we have 12cm+ outside :)

Good news: Radar is filling between Northampton and London.

Bad news: Southern limit of precipitation now at Bromsgrove.

Best news: Today actually happened!
