Rain today radar just caught up on last 30mins and the heavier stuff is taking a bit of a hammering trying to get over the Peak District and Pennines hills. So that's why it's not as heavy here. Hope this doesn't set a trend for the night.

Backtrack you posts this last week have absolutely killed me, saying how good the snow is. Fairplay though if the shoe was on the other foot I guess you'd be annoyed.

Looks like the heavy stuff is moving right towards central Manchester according to the radar!!

It looks as though the second range of mini hills that make up the range just east of Chorley are hammering this band and stopping it getting too much further into NW Lancs, Ribble Catchment, Fylde Coast etc. Let's hope it's only temporary!

Excellent BT - the n/w radar shows a very localised heavier patch round your way. If your messing I now feel stupid, but it is there!

Its so fine here I can't actually see it unless I go outside. It should be heavier than this according the rain today radar but its been like this right through this "event"

had that three days solid. Edited by swainclubber
