Light snowing here. I just put my hand outside of my window and felt the tiny flakes.

SW of the region:

Currently more energy being injected around the Northwich area, expect another bout of much heavier, thicker snow imminently. :)

There's Hawkhurst Head (just over 1000ft) behind that lot, and that's with the filter on. Having the filter off earlier and the pics turned out light-wise nothing but an orange hue.

A little bit ropey now though, slowed down, looking at the radar though, this could still be a memorable event, not talking ridiculous standard but could still get a fair few inches.

Pennine snow shield still blocking the more N and W parts of the region. Really feel for the guys in the Ribble estuary and Fylde Coast areas. Nothing much here for me either but at least i got a bit on Friday. Hope the more easterly stuff gets over to you guys

Snowing in Penrith and settling, the radar shows random precipitation growth across the County ahead of the main band even in Coastal West Cumbria.
