Nice steady fall here for the last 30 mins or so. 0.5cm covering virtually everywhere that had melted away from last two days. Radars seem to be behaving now. Nice to see Preston and surrounding areas getting some too.

it would be snow right now if it landed, so either way it dont matter

temps will go down quick quickly soon, along with dew points, so no marginality at all, if its not sticking , it will be because its light and the surface is wet, but it will eventually stick

If the ground temperature goes below 0°C, would the snow start to stick even on wet ground? So far tonight, the only snow that has stuck has been on leftovers from Friday and on car roofs. Edited January 21, 2013 by The Yellow Snowman
