Really chucking it down. As good as I've ever seen in Southampton. No settling, but never mind.

please tell them that this morning so far we have had drizzle, then sleet and now light snow!

Still moderate snow falling here. So that is 3-4 hours of it now. Only settled on cars/grass, 1-2cm. I have just returned from the supermarket and the roads and paths are clear. I can't say the same about the car park though! I decided to park on the top level and it was completed covered. Made a very interesting and slippery walk between the car and the stairs!

it's definitely intensified in the last hour in the winchester to waterlooville area according to the radar. Looks like it will start fizzling out here in Farnborough shortly.

Anybody on the IOW got any observations? heavier PPN moving in now?

The weather doesn't go by what you think might happen, plenty of winter left for snow imo, right to the end of March!
