    A dry night with a brisk SE wind at first, decreasing later. Clear at first but a sheet of St spread in from the North Sea after midnight.

    Currently cloudy and dry with the St just showing the first signs of thinning.

    Clear spells for a time last night, turning cloudy by mid evening with a few intermittent clear spells through the early hours. The day began overcast, cloud clearing almost completely around sunrise.

    Gorgeous afternoon here. 8.3c. long sunny spells and a light SE breeze - 8mph. A frosty start to the day earlier however, temp down to -0.7c.

    Clear with a ground frost last night.

    Unbroken sunshine with a moderate SE breeze today. Rather mild, bit of a foehn effect, locally high temperatures and low Dp and RH. Grass frost remnants persisted well into the afternoon, as at 1300 temp 9c, DP 0.5c, RH 54%.

    Clear chilly evening.

    Clear with a ground frost to start, then dry and sunny all day. Maximum 8.7, minimum 1.4. Wind light SE.

    Yesterday: thick fog persisted until late morning, then dry for the rest of the day with sunny spells, feeling quite pleasant by mid-afternoon. Maximum 9.4, minimum 1.1. Wind light SE.

    • Wet March so far with more rain for the rest of the month, but hints of more settled weather early April

      It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average.
