Partly cloudy skies and yet another hard ground frost.Occasional flakes of snow falling but the sun is currently shining as well.

A cold and mainly dry night; just a few flakes of snow falling during the late evening. Clear intervals during the early hours and then a few light snow showers since 0730. The heaviest of these was just beginning to whiten the ground when it stopped.

Currently cloudy with a few flakes of snow.

Rather cloudy overnight with just a few cloud breaks. The day dawned cloudy and misty, frost. Low –0.8c with –3.9c on the grass. The morning to observation has been mostly cloudy and dry, frost thawed.

Quit a lot of high cloud overnight, though thin enough to allow the temperature to fall to -2.4c with –6.4c on the grass. A frosty and misty start. The morning saw the mist thicken to shallow freezing fog, visibility <300 yards. Blue sky visible overhead at observation. The depth of fog increased for a couple of hours, then slowly lifted in to low cloud. Still misty and cold with the temperature struggling to 3c by midday. The afternoon began much the same. By mid afternoon the low cloud began to break allowing sunny spells and the temperature climbed to 6.0c.

A suprisingly good day considering the wind is easterly. After a clear start with a ground frost this morning it has been partly cloudy with long spells of sunshine. Not too cold either.

A few light snow showers early this morning but since about 0915 it's been mainly dry and cloudy. The cloud has thinned and broken since sunset.

Clear intervals and a slight frost last night.

Feeling pleasant in the sunny intervals and light variable/ SE breeze today. Showers of rain, soft hail and sleet 19-2100 this evening, rather heavy and prolonged at times.
