19th day today with no rain so a decent absolute drought here, last one was March last year unsurprisingly, but that only managed the bare minimum 15 days

Apart from some recent light falls of snow I must admit not recalling rainfall here, I may have missed it if it did mind. All in all it seems to have been drier this winter, might explain the drought calls already being put out by some water companies.

Excluding today and also excluding sleet (and obviouslymsnow) at this location we had literally the odd spot on 9 April but for measurable rain we have to go back to 22 march when we had wintry showers but some of rain. 20 march was the last day of rain and no sleet or snow.

No measurable precipitation for 17 consecutive days ending today.

15mm of rain since yesterday now, the puddles are back and everything has had a decent watering. Some hefty showers today with thunder locally.
