A Guide To ... Thunderstorms In The British Isles

There was already a guide written by me about UK thunderstorm set-ups, but it was done some 7 years ago now and I've felt for a while that it needed a re-vamp and updating to make a more comprehensive guide to the processes that produce the various types of thunderstorms we see in the UK.

So here it is ... the Netweather guide to thunderstorms in the British Isles .... 15 pages long:

Superb work Nick, I'll take an hour or so over the weekend to fully absorb it - thank you.

Top notch guide Nick thank you. Brilliant for amateurs like me to help me understand topics such as this in much more detail.

This is old thread but it would be helpful for those not logged in to be allowed to download this and may encourage a few more users with weather stations in your area or the UK to make an account if they can see what this is all about.   Currently you have to login just to view this:

When forums have 'You don't have permission to view this' all over the place (outside of special admin sections of course) it is definitely off putting sort of like the old guy with a shotgun yelling at everyone to 'Keep off the grass!' then he wonders why he has no friends or connections and dies alone on his hill.
