Some nice looking clouds starting to build now in Poole/Bournemouth area, some nice height toppers!

Was just about to post something along these lines, some really pretty clouds bubbling up to the south west here in eastern Dorset.

Might get a few hours kip soon as it looks like it's gone quiet out there now but I'll be awake from about 03:00/04:00 onwards to what I think is our make or break time period tomorrow, around sunrise and into rush hour.

yes i wonder what is going to happen once the low pressure hits the uk whether it will increase the intensity of the rain or not. The charts dont look very good for the SW indeed the cape lowers overnight which i dont really understand, radar watching at the ready

Just keep your eyes on raintoday.co.uk or the netweather radar in the early hours of the morning.

So from what time? Should I stay up and wait?

See the previous answer to your question.

Looking at the radar image I now understand, the one I was looking at didn't show that out to the West, thanks for that....sorry if I came across as a pain in the bum.

Speaking of out to the West, I think it could be going to go bang again in central parts of our region. These cells can certainly pack a punch. Don't worry if there is not much showing on the radar in your location, folks. The energy is there for continual development as shown by the cloudscapes out to the West of me right now.
