Large cell to my north right now and i can see 2 more approaching from the south...

Sferics from this storm don't seem to be being reported by the metoffice system (assuming you are in Chatham, Kent)

Lightning eased up a bit here, after about a dozen vibrant IC and CGstrikes! Only elevated light-moderate rain so far!!

Odd!!

Gone round me once again. Looks like it's chucking it down to the north of me.

Brief heavy downpour..nothing too exciting. Nice looking cell though.

The MCS propagation vector is pointing up the channel past Kent - this seems to be the direction most of the intense lightning is heading. It doesn't seem to change direction later on either.

No buddy im up North in Derbyshire, everything seems to be bubbling up just nicely here, sky looking very menacing in all directions from my point of view.

Lightning Dronfield way???  Probably the black cell I can see the SE of me.

Must have been lightning and nothing else witnessed a funnel cloud over Renishaw coming off the M1 at Barlborough the road was flooded near Sitwell Arms due to torrential rain yet when i got to the top of Marsh Lane it was bone dry and is bone dry in Dronfield Posted Image

Up at devils dyke. Taken refuge in the pub. A few sporadic lightning strikes but nothing to write home about.

The rain was very odd actually. Here is was very briefly heavy, and I was driving back from the town centre and some parts the road was soaking and others it was dry. Since I've been back in Hollingwood we've had one burst of torrential rain and not much else!

A lot of rain if nothing else! I'd be surprised if there wasn't any more electrical activity. However I wouldn't be surprised to see just a few flashes and bangs sporadically through the night either, without any real frequency or organisation. Difficult really, but I guess there is scope to be surprised in a positive way!

Not finished yet duck!
