Yep it's very strange here with this low cloud but humid still .....fingers crossed I love a good storm!

Every time there's a flash, it has numerous return strokes - ie if you think "was that a flash" it then repeat flashes again for another second or more....been a while since I experienced this!

Unless the radar explodes into action now, it looks like NW England could get the lowest amount of rainfall from this by far out of England!

Really dark clouds and raining moderatley, no thunder in Watford.

East of Lancaster up the M6 over Shap looks exciting right now. As does a line from Coventry to Derby.

Ten minutes of very light rain in Kettering. Stopped now. Doesn't have a thundery feel at all here. Unlike last Monday!

It sounds like there was a good amount of lightning around your area last Monday night, more further West then where I was which was very depressing with such a close pass and I didn't get anything.

 

I did see quite a lot of distant lightning and rumbles of thunder on Sunday evening though when no thunder was forecast.
