Hot water and central heating working, but not at the same time. Hopefully a man in a van will diagnose the fault (diverter valve I'm sure) and fix it tonight as I'm missing a world without total automation of the living environment!

Not yet.But in Glasgow at the weekend, and as expected every public building was stifflingly hot ......At the Youth Hostel they had the thermostat in the conferance room where we held our meetings set at 28c ..........   Quickly turned down to 20c. Presumably they turned it up on the assumption we were all Scots, but in fact most of us were English so we don't die if the temp falls below 25c :)

Nope not got it on even though it's a chilly 12c in doors, got a couple of jumpers on plus thermal socks and I'm OK.

Heating off, heating on, heating off. I wish it would be more seasonal even if this is flattening out the recent rise in energy bills.

Off here these past few days as its 10c out night & day. Windows open in the mornings to get some air through then closed partly to keep the endless drizzle out. Living room holds at about 20c day & night having not been heated for many days.

Will prob need a little later in the week when we return to the more normal -1 to 2c range but pee in the ocean compared to my old place.

My OH and I tried the tea light convection heater. It seems that our rooms are slightly too big for it to make much difference. Though it is good for putting underneath the clothes horse to help dry out towels and bulky stuff, as I have no way of drying clothes outside being in a top flat.

Mine is still on, but it is storage heating so turning it off now will only take affect in 2-3 days, plus I have the lurg so it is welcome to be warm.

I have had it on for brief spells whilst having baths as can feel cold temporarily after coming out of bath but have yet to have the need to have it on any other times, continues to be a very warm year.

A few hours ago went out for a walk in my t-shirt, had to take off cardigan due to sweat.  In the last 24-48 hours temps have gone up a lot.

On Briefly this evening as temps outside had dipped so the house cooled down quite a bit. I may have to put it on a for a while tomorrow morning then it'll be off again.

Got up this morning and turned it off. This December should see my bill reduced by a half.

Much the same here, problem is the greedy bar stewards will moan about the falling profits so next year prices will go up even more to cover this years reduction. Either way they screw us over.
