Heavy rain and starting to get very windy in Broadstairs Kent. Not sure that one of the trees in my neighbour's garden will be up right come the morning. It's already bending in some strange directions.

So, the storms now starting to arrive in many places, whats everybodys predictions about where will get the most severe, and timings etc.

I wonder if our friends in the Channel Isles are on tonight? They must be getting battered.

The isobars certainty look tighter than here, they'l be in the 70s-90s at least I would have thought.

Temperature is starting t orise now here

 

12.7 to 13.3c, increase of 0.6c

 

Pressure is now at 985.3mb and still lowering.

 

Been raining for a few hours now, wind is slightly picking up, but nothing much yet

Trees just come down. Wind really starting to pick up, rain easing off near Gatwick

Can anyone confirm that the centre of the low is due to enter Wales or has done so already!!

So calm in Cardiff now that some areas have thick fog. Rain has been an enormous problem and now many roads are flooded and impassable.

Its probably over South Wales by now, waiting for the chart off meteocentre to confirm this though.

It seems to of calmed a bit here on the IOW ?  have we seen the worst or is there more to come yet ?
