We will have invented weather control, and our weather will consist mainly of broken cloud and sunny intervals, but with occasional belts of frontal rain, amounting to about 50-70mm per month in the east and 80-100mm in most parts of the west. The original idea will have been to time rain belts only to arrive overnight, but following a dispute with Germany over the issue that this would result in rain belts mostly reaching Germany during daylight hours, we will have had to settle for randomly-timed rain belts.  Daytime temperatures will range from 21 or 22C in summer, to 13 or 14C in winter, and minimum temperatures will range from 13C in summer to 7C in winter.  Daytime maximum temperatures above 22C, overnight temperatures below 7C, thunderstorms, convective precipitation, snow, fog and frost will all be illegal under the new Health and Safety regulations.

On the plus side we will have solved anthrpogenic global warming, despite dramatically increasing the anthropogenic influence on our climate.

however... netweather members will have hacked the weather control system and we will have blizzards from september until august!!

I got into the tardis and had a look, headline in the 2113 paper reads

Mildest winter since 2014 says Corbyn Madden

raging zonality dooms infant Devon ski industry

and assuming they had it all figured out, I returned to my own time.

I think this is great idea...but...would people really enjoy living in such a climate or not I wonder?

The weather will be privatised and you will have to pay for your own weather beamed directly to your roof top. Grey drizzle is the cheapest package. A free day of Sun for new customers.

Does that mean prices will go up every year. On pain of our having weather-cuts!

By then we will have entered a warming period similar to the medival warm period and it will be dubbed the skeptical period after all those folks who didn't buy warming in the early 2000's

According to the brand new CFS Super Long Range model, the weather in 99 years and 364 days time (a day before 100 years), will see the whole country become influenced by an exceptionaly unstable Easterly flow with 850 hPa temperatures as low as -25*C over the UK, with the -30*C 850 hPa temperatures getting as close as 1cm away from the East Coast. Along with extrodinarily low 500 to 1000 hPa thicknesses, this will turn the unusually warm North Sea into a serious snow making monster sending frequent killer snow showers all over the UK. Some of the snowflakes that fall from these showers will be up to 74cm big and may be deadly enough to knock out insects, small animals... and even humans! Expect each of these killer snow showers to produce a 1 meter dumping, although areas to the West of the Whelsh mountains may only see 99.9cm from each snow shower instead. By the end of the day, places near the East Coast will have seen upto 21 meters of snow, while those further West will have only seen around 20.92 to 20.99 meters of snow. Some houses and buildings may sadly colasp under the weight of the snow. So it's not only the 'king-sized' snowflakes you've got to worry about. Therefore, as quickly as possible, it would be a good idea to take a plane down South... before the killer snow stamps you out! It should also be noted that daytime temperatures could easily dip to as low as -15*C in places - even near the Sourh coast, with some spots seeing temperatures a good 5 to 10*C lower than that. Many places will see temperatures dip to as low as -35*C overnight, especially towards the East... although funnily enough, the CFS Super Long Range model expects the Derbyshire peaks to be the chilliest place during the night. Temperatures apparently getting down to -47.2*C over the peaks (if the CFSSLR model is to be believed). I'm guessing it's because the CFS Super Long Range model shows a small pocket of -29.99*C 850 hPa temperatures in that area, which could explain that -47.2*C prediction. After all, everywhere else is expected to see 850's in the range of -25*C to -29.35*C.

But as longs as we see no downgrades in regards to the weather in 99 years and 364 days time, it will be the coldest November day the UK has ever experienced. (Apparently the CFS Super Long Range model had shown an Easterly with the -30*C 850 hPa temperatures as much as 2cm away from the East Coast yesterday, so today is definitely an upgrade with regards to the -30*C 850 hPa temperatures for 99 years and 364 days time).

The weather for the day after (100 years time) will be the kind of things people have already mentioned in this thread (e.g: asteroids etc). The CFS Super Long Range model actually agrees with the asteroid idea, too. ;-)
