Turning overcast shortly after observation and staying so for much of the day with only a few bright spells, the late afternoon saw some brief late sunshine. Feeling cold, despite lack of wind.

[Cold Winter]

Image of (what I think) is a roll cloud (arcus) taken yesterday in East Yorkshire. I believe it's caused by colder upper air sinking while dragging up warmer, moist air at the surface which condenses just above ground. Please correct me if I'm wrong! More on my Twitter (link below).
