Is this the lowest ever July temperature at 6.2c it was more like a winters morning I can't find anything that low in my records how about you surely this has got to be a new record low

Hi Paul

I've not had anything that low here since 1997; Finningley figs give 3.2C on the morning of 12 July 1971 which also had the only ground frost in July in this area. There are around 10 occasions with a temperature below 6C at Finningley in July. Not sure that is any help to you. You might try any RAF station nearer to you than here, maybe Watnall?
