Seen 2 vividly bright lightning bolts (+ve CGs?) towards central London followed by deep thunder in last 5-10mins . Daft jet just taken off from Heathrow heading straight for the storm.

Just saw a flash of lightning followed by 3 bits of very distant thunder.

Two loud rumbles and bright flashes in Ealing and another couple of distant rumbles, wouldn't exactly call it a storm but nice to get some house shaking thunder!

A lot of people have reported that in the past, must be air pressure related, in the meantime, very heavy rain passing through here. No T&L yet though.

Someone's turned the lights off here, I think this one has a sting in its tail, the fat lady hasn't sung yet!
