A quick post as currently at Manchester airport on iPhone and dodgy wifi but a fair chance of tornados in E NE from 21Z if the team is in that area?

CNN currently has live video from stormchasers east of Norfolk NE showing two large tornadoes moving east, there appears to be an F3 or F4 with an F2 to its northwest in one giant supercell. They were about two miles apart and the weaker one had been intermittently on the ground.

Indeed.

I've seen a few pictures appear on Twitter that basically shows the entire town being demolished.

Souix City may be spared as this cyclic beast skirts to the South but watch that new lone cell behind - could be another turner.

:( That one on the right is immense.

I know Dominator 3 has stopped and is assisting the search and rescue effort, but the pictures are worrying.

7 Tornadoes today (Including 5 Wedges) takes me to 100 Not Out!!

Just a couple of the 100's of pictures we got with these beasts coming straight at us at times, twice we had 2 on the ground at once, some shameless plugging for the Netweather Tours as well

I don't think I've ever seen two tornados of such size in such close proximity before.

Really amazing stuff yesterday.

I've never seen anything like that before, and wonder what the dynamics of that supercell (or merged cells) was.

I can't be bothered to do a proper screengrab of this, but on one of the videos put online by a chaser since, theres a definite beginning of a 3rd funnel, between the two tornadoes.

You could also see that one had become a Multi Vortex tornado as well after it hit Pilger.post-12217-0-65778800-1403010239_thumb.p
