It's raining in Wimbledon, but not heavily and not expected to last long, apparently.

Edit, oh no, now the covers are going on.

Evening all

finally finished getting the car as MOT ready as I can for tomorrows test, thankfully the weather held out to allow me the last few bits to do (I am no mech and just doing what I can).

Turned out to be a nice evening here after a short cloudy and wet spell this afternoon, think more rain will be on its ways all too soon though.

Not expecting any action tonight, nor any storms either for that matter.

The BBC used the words, 'possible,''potential' and 'hit and miss,' in the forecast! That usually means a light shower for here!

Even without radar, I would say I got some rain heading my way in the next few hours, the cloud tells a story :spiteful: But as far as anything thundery, at least got a tiny risk which is better than no risk. :good:

Just started gently raining, which sounds and smells lovely. I hope there's more to come as the garden needs watering.

I didn't have time as I went to the Show.  That should guarantee some rain.

Looking at the radar, there is some light rain heading north east at about 20 mph (approx 35 km/h for the youngsters   )

Here too. Presumably that's from the warm front, rather than the showers following behind.

Had both light showers and brief heavier rain here. The pond needed topping up to keep the little tadpoles / froglets happy so pleased to see a some rain, but if it could be dry and sunny on Saturday that would be good. I've got loads to do in the garden.

The rain has stopped here now! Tomorrow is expected to be thundery, not sure about Saturday Tadpole! It was sunny for Saturday at one point, now there is rain forecast, it might change again!

Morning all.

Was cloudy to start the day here, but the sun has manged to break through already.

Decent cape for this part of the world this afternoon, the potential lasting well into the evening too. So maybe we will get some decent surface based storms.

Morning from a dull and dreary mid Norfolk. June is THE worst month up here, mostly meh. If the sun burns this lot off it'll be a bloom'in miracle...

My thunder symbol has been replaced by a light shower one, yet there is a weather warning for heavy, thundery showers!

Sigh......all blooming interesting symbols have run away....If anyone finds them please call the number on the collar so they can be returned.

First day working from home in my new job and i have to say this is a much nicer way of working. No tube to contend with, no pushing an shoving, sitting on the couch with me feet up and my trackies on....lovely.

Still I had better get on with some work. L8ers M8ters

Not much thunder (about 4 rumbles, that lovely deep rolling type) but the rain is quite heavy!
