Wow, NH3 - what a great idea - it just needs an effective way of splitting it, which hopefully is now achievable but many a slip 'tween cup and lip, though worth watching this space.

What about the production of the ammonia, though?  How reliable and sustainable is the supply of feedstock for the Haber Process?

You probably need natural gas to do it... oh hang on a minute...If you scroll to the bottom of the page they seem to have Hydrogen breakthroughs every few months

Really don't get the excitement of Hydrogen over electric. Hydrogen is expensive, electric even with high energy prices is about a quarter that of fuel per mile.

Because at the moment, electric cars defeat the point of being a clean fuel as the electricity comes from fossil fuel burning sources. Until we adopt a much more environmentally friendly energy policy, electric cars are counter-productive. Plus they're just not practical yet.
